GWRRA is an organization built around four simple ideals: to promote safety and skill enhancement; to promote friendship among the entire biking public; to promote the positive image of the motorcycle rider; and to promote just plain fun. The motto of GWRRA is Friends for Fun, Safety and Knowledge. It is no wonder that this organization has grown from seven founding members in 1977 to over 80,000 members thirty years later. The benefits of GWRRA membership are many, including a monthly subscription to Wing World, the annual "Gold Book" Service Directory, an attractive gold-plated GWRRA pin, membership card, logo patch and decals. But in addition joining this organization makes you part of a "family" sharing a common enthusiasm and community spirit. Whether you're looking for friendship, or just someone to ride with, GWRRA could be the place for you.
Gold Wing Road Riders Association
Chapter FL2-A has the distinction of being the first GWRRA Chapter in the State of Florida. We celebrated our 30th Anniversary in 2008. Our events and meetings are open to everyone and we certainly hope you'll check us out. Our meetings are pretty informal. We go over some of the past ride events and schedule some of the upcoming rides. Our Rider Educator will cover some safety tips and our Technical Expert will share some knowledge. We play some games and usually have a few laughs. Visitors are always welcome to come and find out what GWRRA is all about. We won't make you do anything weird (unless you want to).
